Fiber One Cereal and Bars

With guilt-free and indulgent choices, Fiber One helps make it easier than ever to increase your daily intake of fiber with tasty and fulfilling improved products.  When hunger strikes and you need to satisfy your diet as well as your sweet-tooth, Fiber One has you covered with at least 35% of your daily value of fiber in every serving of their cereals and bars. Check out the great new taste of three Fiber One favorites.

* Fiber One Honey Clusters have a brand new flake! Every one-cup serving is full of tasty honey clusters, antioxidant vitamins A and E, and 13 grams of fiber.

* Fiber One Raisin Bran Clusters now contain crispier, lightly sweetened whole grain flakes. With plump, juicy raisins and crunchy clusters it packs 11 grams of fiber and antioxidant vitamins A and E into every serving.

* With rich chocolate chips and a new and improved taste, Fiber One Oats & Chocolate chewy bars are a good source of calcium and contain 9 grams of fiber in each bar.

Our Take:  The Honey Clusters cereal is delicious, it doesn’t taste like a diet food, supplement, or have any aftertastes that “good for you” foods have.  I don’t even have to pour it in a bowl and add milk, it’s great as a sweet and crunchy snack.  The bars are a snack we buy constantly and they do taste better than ever.  My four year old was introduced to these about a year ago and they’ve really helped her become more regular (bathroom habits) and I feel good about what she’s ingesting as well.  The older kids take these in their lunch, for a healthy treat at sports and dance, and my husband keeps a stash in his car for a pick me up.  We’re happy to promote Fiber One!

We were sent a GC and coupons from Fiber One on behalf of My Blog Spark. The opinions are our 100% tried, true, and honest opinion!

Vitalicious: Low Calorie Muffins, Muffin Tops, and Brownies

When I head to my local drive-thru coffee shop, they always have those tempting bakery muffins ready to accompany my drink. Once in a while I buy them and eat the whole 3000 calorie muffin alone and regret it later. Okay so maybe they don’t have 3 THOUSAND calories, but probably close to 600 each.

I was introduced to Vitalicious, a healthier alternative to what I’m used to. Vitalicious offers complete VitaMuffins, just VitaTops, VitaBrownies, and more are jam packed with fiber, protein, and come in great portion control sizes. These will NOT ruin your New Year’s Resolutions and fill you up with less calories than those bakery muffins. …

Vitalicious Inc. is the market leader of innovative “vital and delicious” baked goods that promote a healthy lifestyle, without sacrificing taste. First to market with 100-calorie servings, Vitalicious is leading the way to a holistic approach to maximize satisfaction with minimum calories, with products that are low fat and high in fiber and nutrients. Vitalicious has created a unique triangle of need-satisfaction (All-Natural ingredients + Nutraceuticals + Weight Management), the only baked-goods company in this niche. Vitalicious products are now sold at stores nationwide and at www.vitalicious.com (www.vitalicious.ca for Canadian Residents). Here at Vitalicious our mission is simple: to make healthy and delicious baked goods that are fortified with essential vitamins and minerals.

Our Take: We got a huge box to sample and I was so giddy with excitement. First and foremost, put the contents of the products in the freezer! This adds MONTHS to the shelf life, and defrosting is a snap. Before, I put them in though, I sampled one of my favorite muffin flavors, the Banana Nut VitaTop. With only 100 calories and 5 whopping grams of fiber this muffin top was delicious! Honestly, if you are not used to eating a more fiber-filled food, it does take a little getting used to. The flavor or sweetness does not change, rather the texture. I enjoyed eating the other flavors such as the Fudgy Peanut Butter Chip and the Blueberry! The kids thought the VitaBrownies tasted “different” but ate them nonetheless. Served warm, they taste the best!!
Vitalicious also has a low-acid coffee you can try that is easier on the digestive system!

Online, you can buy in bulk, VitaTops in 12- and 24-packs starting at $16.00, VitaMuffins (16-pack, starting at $15.45), and VitaBrownies (16-and 48-packs starting at $22.65). Find a store near you, http://www.vitalicious.com/store-locator.html. to buy individually.

High Fiber Progresso Soup

I think you will be excited to hear that in addition to the 75 great flavors of Progresso Soup, there are four new, great tasting Progresso soups that have 28% of your daily fiber intake per serving (7 grams) and have no added MSG or artificial flavors. I’ve been speaking of fiber alot lately, but for good reason, it’s popping up as an added bonus to many foods now. The need for it spans all ages, talk to any doctor, it’s essential part of your nutrition daily!

Our Take: The new varieties include Chicken Tuscany, Creamy Tomato Basil, Hearty Vegetable and Noodles and Homestyle Minestrone. Now, I’m not a huge soup fan. But eating out at The Olive Garden, I admit their Minestrone is the best i’ve ever had! Progresso sent me some of their new Homestyle Minestrone and it is good! It tastes homemade and you rarely get that from a canned soup! It has a nice variety of veggies, the broth is tasty (and I usually like to add lots of peeper), but the kids will not eat it. Too many “green things.” More for my husband and I!

Want your chance to try out Progresso Soup? I have a giveaway for a prize pack that includes 2 large soup mugs, 2 Progresso soup spoons, and a can of one of their new varieties of High Fiber soup!
