Tillamook Cheese Brings the “Loaf Love Tour” to the Sacramento Zoo August 11th!

WHO: Tillamook, the 103-year-old, farmer-owned cooperative from Oregon that has earned a reputation as one of the nation’s premier natural cheese makers and leading dairy product company.

WHAT: The Tillamook Loaf Love Tour, the third annual cross-country mobile cheese sampling event, is heading to California and to kick off their journey throughout “The Golden State” will be offering free admission to the Sacramento Zoo on Saturday, August 11th. The first 100 fans sporting their happiest and cheesiest Tillamook orange will get a free day at the zoo, where attendees dressed in orange thereafter will receive $1 off general admission. Once inside the zoo, event-goers of all ages can sample Tillamook’s cheeses made in Oregon, interact with Tillamook Brand Ambassadors, meet Loafy, participate in zoo bingo, and more. The Loaf Love Tour will be rolling around the Sacramento-area in their fleet of 1960’s refurbished VW buses from August 8th-August 18th. During their visit, the Tour will be stopping at nearby grocery stores and special events educating attendee, sampling their cheeses made in the most natural way possible, and handing out coupons. Participating fans may check-in at the Tillamook Baby Loaf bus located outside the zoo’s main gate. To win, attendees must come wearing orange. Limit one free entry per person, no monetary value.

    I wish they were coming to my city. This would be so cool. I think that it would be great if they went into the cities with the highest poverty level. Just a thought. :)
