Our take: My four year old loves anything miniature and cutesy and these dolls fit the bill. The pups’ big sparkly eyes are adorable. The hours of imaginative play is priceless. We did have a challenge that the pups are very “head heavy” and with the different hair styles, they tend to tip over, so it’s a trick to get them balanced to stand or “lay” in their beds. It can be frustrating to little but with some practice it does get better. Also on Maddie the Dachshund, the sunglasses stay better on her head rather than on the eyes unless you tuck the arms of the glasses under the hair piece. There’s definitely a small learning curve, but they have been a real hit! The plush dog has been to preschool for sharing already and sleeps next to my daughter’s pillow at night.
