Build-a-Bear’s Salute to the Military

In 2002, Build-A-Bear Workshop partnered with the USO (United Service Organization) by donating almost 20 thousand bears for military families. Since then they have continued to support the USO in different ways. This year, Build-A-Bear Workshop is inviting guests to donate $1 at checkout registers at all Build-A-Bear Workshop locations in the United States.
From May 3 to June 7 2010, members of the armed services including the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard, and Reserve Officer Training Corps will receive a 20% discount on any one transaction at Build-A-Bear Workshop stores with the presentation of a government issued military identification card.

Build-A-Bear doesn’t only want to provide just a discount; they want to get to know you too! They are sponsoring TWO twitter parties so friends on both coasts can salute our military heroes.
