Lysol Healthy No-Touch Hand Soap System

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends hand washing as the number one way to avoid getting sick and prevent the spread of germs to others. Consequently, Lysol has launched the Healthy Touch No-Touch Hand Soap System, a new hand washing tool that helps prevents the spread of germs by eliminating the need to touch germy soap pumps. The system can also help make teaching hand hygiene routines more fun effective for everyone, which is more important than ever for families to practice during cold and flu season.

See how easy it is!

Lysol is the number one brand recommended by pediatricians, and offering it in your child’s teacher’s would help spread the word about this fabulous product and keep your kids healthy at school as well as at home! For use in the kitchen or bathroom, it helps stop the spread of germs by automatically sensing hands and dispensing antibacterial soap that kills 99.9% of bacteria, including E.coli, MRSA and Strep.

Our Take: I love that the starter pack comes complete with batteries, always a bonus when buying this type of product. The unit it small and fits on the ledge of your kitchen sink nicely and wouldn’t take up too much room by the bathroom sink either. The dispenser gives out a bit too much soap for children’s hands, but just takes a bit longer to rinse, try singing the alphabet when soaping up and rinsing. The scent I received was the Cucumber Splash and it was pleasant and not overpowering on the skin once rinsed. Be advised that if you grab the unit to move to a different location, grab from the back or else you’ll get a shot of the soap in your hands!

The starter set retails for just under $10 and includes 1-dispenser, 1-8.5 oz. hand soap refill and 4 AA batteries. Refills of the soap (in 3 scents, cucumber splash, green tea and ginger, and grapefruit) retail for around $3.50.

Thanks to Lysol, I have one starter unit of the Healthy No-Touch Hand Soap System to give away to one lucky reader of The Mom Reviews!
