Bake Me a Wish! Red Velvet Chocolate Cake
Now, I’ve gotten flowers delivered to my door. Balloon bouquets, yes. Candy and cookies, check. Something I’ve never had delivered is a cake. Not just any cake either, a Bake Me a Wish! cake came to my door last week and you don’t know how excited I was! For the main reason, that I am going to eat a fresh fabulous cake that came to my door, but also because it was going to be Red Velvet Chocolate Cake, something I’ve never had before!

Bake Me a Wish! is the award-winning, premium nationwide service for delivery of gourmet cakes for every occasion. The flavors of the cakes are incredible, think peanut butter mousse, cookies and cream, not to mention Viennese raspberry coffee cake…are you drooling yet?
Delivered in an ice-packed box, I felt confident the cake was prepared and sent professionally for the customer’s utmost satisfaction. You can keep the cake in the fridge for about a week, or freeze it for up to 2 months. If you freeze the cake, you’ll want to give it about 2 hours to thaw at room temp. I knew we wanted to jump into the cake as soon as possible, so I left it out to thaw.

Our Take: For whatever reason, I’ve never had red-velvet cake. Besides completely delicious, it’s a gorgeous cake, it’s bright red color is perfect for an upcoming Valentine’s Day treat! The cake was fresh, tasted like a quality bakery cake that was just made hours before. The topping was a heavy cream cheese frosting that was very rich, I thought a touch overpowering, but the kids were completely fine with it! The outer edge of the cake was sprinkled with white chocolate that was a delicious addition along with the LOVE disc (belgian chocolate) I ate prior to my cake slice.

We all loved it! It’s not a cake you’d believe came in the mail (UPS) hours prior!

Bake Me a Wish! works to benefit soldiers overseas as well, 5% of your order will also be contributed to Bake Me A Wish!’s Operation: Birthday Cake, which, with our partner Soldiers’ Angels donates birthday cakes each month. In addition, if you order The Freedom Cake, a similar cake will be sent to soldier!
You can have a cake delivered to your door, ranging in price from $19.99-$39.99 (plus shipping). Have it the NEXT day when you order the day prior before 4:50PM Eastern time!
