Food Network’s "Worst Cooks in America" Premieres 1/3
I love watching the Food Network! Rachael Ray is my favorite, and the game shows like, The Next Food Network Star and Chef vs. City, also great food fun. Starting next weekend, a new game show will pit some of the worst home cooks in America:
WORST COOKS IN AMERICA premieres Sunday, January 3, 2010 at 10pm/9c on Food Network!
Twelve of the most hopeless cooks in the country will compete in a high-stakes elimination series in Worst Cooks in America. At stake for the last two standing is the chance to cook for a panel of esteemed culinary critics and win the grand prize of $25,000. This six-week series will put the “recruits” through a culinary boot camp led by two acclaimed chefs: Anne Burrell, host of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef, and Beau MacMillan, executive chef at Elements in Phoenix.
Consider yourself one of America’s work cooks? Learn the culinary basics with Food Network: Cook Or Be Cooked Video Game for Wii! Developed in partnership with Food Network, the first cable network dedicated to the power and joy of food, the game is designed to teach players real, practical cooking skills using their Wii Remote and Nunchuk. From introductory lessons to more advanced challenges, Food Network: Cook or Be Cooked will make everyone a star chef.
