I’m geographically-challenged. I’m pretty good knowing the locations of all the states in the U.S. and have a good understanding of North America, but anything beyond, I’m clueless. I truly hope that my children get a broader understanding of the world and can interpret the globe better than I can. Our Take: My sixth grader learned all about the 50 states last year in school and this year is getting her dose of world geography. Now, with such a great toy, we can discuss her school work together in a unique way referring to the Hugg-a-Planet! My 3rd grader is learning about the solar system and it’s wonderful that we have such a new knowledge of the planet Mars now, he is sharing with his fellow students!! My 3-year-old, well, so far she loves having some fun new “balls” and pillows to play with, but we have shown her the state we live in and she loves to remind us that she remembers where on the globe it is! How’s that for early global education! The fact that the toy is soft and not a sturdy globe is that it can travel around the house as needed and even I’m brushing up on my geography! I highly recommend this great toy for you and your children.
