*contest closed* Precious Girls Club Prize Pack *Giveaway*

Since the topic of little girls growing up too fast seems to be a concern for Moms everywhere, Precious Moments, the inspirational figurine and collectible company, created the Precious Girls Club and we’re excited to share it with you! More than a club, it’s a way of thinking and being, a safe place for young girls to discover how wonderful it is to be precious.
The Precious Girls Club is based on an all new book series for girls that revolves around the life of Katie Bennett and a diverse group of her friends. Their world is brought to life not only through books, but also through a state-of-the-art virtual world where girls can learn and play in a safe, wholesome environment based on the values embraced by Precious Moments. I love that it has a very thorough Parent’s Section where you can learn all about the site and feel safe and secure what your daughters are working on online.
The website, https://www.preciousgirlsclub.com/pgc/pgcHome.jsp has just been enhanced with some awesome new features, including:
- Wings! Earn virtue points by playing games, completing activities and doing good things in the real world. Earn five points for each virtue charm and earn your wings to fly around the world for a week and play the special Wings game!
- Ability for Moms to award online virtual points for real world behavior. Check out the site to find suggestions to earn virtue points offline, or Mom can come up with her own ideas.
And be sure to check out the site regularly – we will be adding a number of new “Quests” in the coming weeks, including one to help find 8 lost kittens roaming throughout the world and return them to the animal shelter.
Our Take: In the book, Operation Kindness, Katie and her friends encounter a problem while trying to cheer up sick children living in a hospital. Their challenge to get the puppet show going at the hospital needs a little push from Guardian Angel Faith, and some Christian values. Mixed into the story is typical girl issues such as jealousy, envy, teasing and hurt feelings that the girls experience that conclude in smart decision making and reasoning.
My oldest daughter felt the story wasn’t her style, but wouldn’t disagree it had very strong points about friendships. Being involved in cliques and groups in school as well as in dance classes, she can relate to some of the side issues discussed in the books. I enjoyed the story myself and think when my 3 year old gets a bit older she will as well.
