Summer time is here and so is camping season! My family loves to camp. We camp by the beach on the central coast, and also in Lake County, CA each summer and fall and we’re always concerned about the comfort and warmth that our 3 young children need for sleeping outdoors! Even if the temperatures surpass 90 degrees during the day, the evenings and nights cool down dramatically.

We were lucky enough to try out the Lightening Bug sleeping bag and let me tell you, both of my girls love it! Primarily this will be perfect for our 3 year old, who carries around her blanket every where she goes. Well, going to grandma’s as well as camping, she’ll be happy to store her blanket in the special “stash pocket” inside the top cover! The sleeping bag is soft and comfortable and the material stays cool and doesn’t feel hot or sticky if the weather is warmer.
