Kids who love animals and dream of becoming veterinarians now have a new, interactive way to play pretend. Animal Planet, known as the authority on “all things animal” has partnered with Activision to create “Emergency Vets” for Nintendo DS!
Based on the popular Animal Planet series “Emergency Vets,” kids can play as an up-and-coming veterinarian that helps the other vets at the Alameda East Hospital perform veterinary procedures on a variety of different animals, like teeth cleaning, medicating, and operating with the Nintendo DS stylus. After performing successful procedures, players will have the opportunity to interact with each animal and see their reactions.

My dog jack was on his last chance home and was about to be terminated. The families that had him in the past keep getting rid of him. Poor thing was still a pup and the people just didn't give him a chance. He's just a little mix between Jack Russell & Fiest. We got him 8years ago and he is the best friend a family could have.

For twenty years we ran a crafts store that was a secret animal shelter on the side. Well, it was an open secret, but the newspapers weren’t allowed to write about it. We placed hundreds of cats, and a few dogs, with a cat back guarantee. If the placement failed, bring it back. When we sold the store, my sister married and took thirty cats across country with her. They were the unplaceable cats, the ones with chronic medical conditions, the only ones we allowed ourselves to keep. Turns out, they all love California.
We have a rescue dog – part lab part golden part something, but all good and a cat that was abandoned as a baby. My son would love this game!!

Well, we didn’t have as many pets until my adult daughter moved back home. So….here goes! Our pets are Stewart and Sophie (both rescued labrador retriever) Rukia and Masaharu (both Shih Tzus) and we just added Noodle and Nugget our laying hens. My daughter’s pets include Buster (rescued pit bull), Ausuka (rescued lab-weimerimer mix), Coaga (rescued Coon hound-pit bull mix) and Arthur, Guenivere and Shinji (Shih Tzus) We also have a pond full of gold fish and shebunkins!

We have had our long hair chihuahua for about a year now, her name is Faith and she was the only survivor of her litter. She sleeps with my 3 yr. old Chubby-huggy every night (I can’t see how without being squished, but she does). Then we have an 8 yr. old cat that we rescued, his name is Pita (stands for Pain In The —). The cat is 4 times bigger than the dog, its funny. We love both of them. Our little shihtzu Kodi just had her 70th birthday (in human years) on May 10th. She use to have a pup-mate but she passed away in October 2001, all these years she was by herself until our son came home with a stray a few months ago…long story short we are now parents to Tiger, a lab/great dane mix (so we have one really big and one really little). It has put the puppy spark back in our aging little lady…thank you for the chance to win, our son would be very happy.
