My biggest struggle with shopping for pants is accommodating the (ahem) extra 10 lbs of fat around my midsection, thanks in no small part to 2 c-sections. If I can get them zipped up, then it’s horrifying to look in the mirror and see the pockets about to explode from the stress. Sigh.

I must wear a compression thigh high stocking on my left leg so that when I try on pants I always look to see how that leg looks. If I can see the place that the stocking ends then the pants are not a good fit.

I struggle when looking for pants because I have a large waist. I can find pants to fit my body, but I can’t zip of button them. I have to move up a size which makes it look like I am wearing pants that are too big. Often, I opt for elastic waist pants to avoid the problem. I have no waist! If I get jeans to fit the bottom they usually are to tight in the waist and so I go to stretchy waisted pants.
would love to try the yellow or brown color(s) i prefer the yellow but if for some reason that’s not available, i’d like the brown.
my struggles with finding the perfect fitting jeans – when i go to try on a pair that i see that i hope will fit when i try them on, either the legs are too tight and i can’t even get them on or their too tight in the crotch area or too loose making me think i have to wear a diaper just for them to fit right. it ends us being a frustrating shopping experience and i’m lucky if i ever find a decent pair of jeans to wear.
my last shopping experience was just prior to last thanksgiving. i happen to go up to cabela’s with the hubby, who’s a big time hunter.
so, i’m looking at the women’s clothes and come upon the jean section. instantly i think, oh god, here we go.
found a pair of blue ones that i liked. tried them on, they fit. only thing i hated about them – they tended to lift my butt….(aka a lift if you will)
guess, since i’m in my 40′s i need it as i tend to sag according to the hubby.
went and bought them, but ended up taking them back. just couldn’t get used to that butt area being lifted all the time and it felt weird.
sorry, but (LOL, no pun intended)for me, i like to have nice relaxing fitted jeans that are comfy to wear and no worrying about any butt lifting.

Ok, so I’m 5’1″ (if I stand real straight) and like 110 lbs with NO waist but I do have hips and a butt!! Most pants are always too long for me (I have to buy a little girl’s large size 14 to get the right length) so that’s problem #1…problem #2 is that if I can get the pants over my butt I usually have enough extra space around my waist to fit my 2 year old, or I can’t wiggle into a pair of pants (the one’s that are sized by your waist) because I can’t egt them over my hips!!

My biggest challenge in finding pants, well there are two. One is the extra 10 pounds of baby weight I’m still carrying. The other is all the low rise styles, I hate that, I feel like my pants are falling down.

My biggest struggle when shopping for pants is that I can’t find pants that fit me nicely around the hips and also fit the contour of my butt equally as nice. If I get a good fit in my butt area the pants are generally too big around the hips, but when I go down a size to get the fit right around my hips the smaller size is too tight in my butt. It is constant challenge for me. When I do find a brand/designer that make clothes that fit me right I tend to stick with them for future needs. Honestly, Lee jeans and slacks have always worked really well for me and I can fit into them perfectly. That is why I am so thrilled about this giveaway, Yay for Lee!

When shopping for pants, my biggest struggle is finding pants that don’t appear baggy around my tush.
See, I have a fibroid the size of a four month pregnancy so when I purchase pants I have so usually buy a size larger than my norm so it will fit around my “baby fibroid pouch”. The excess fabric around my tush sometimes is laughable. Good thing my mother is a wonderful seamstress. When the excess fabric is not too much, she’ll alter them so I dont’ look bad.

My biggest problem when it comes to buying pants is the price!!!!! I usually go to the men’s department because they are always cheaper than the women’s. Being a country girl I don’t worry all that much about fit as long as they are the right size in the waist and length and aren’t so tight I can’t breathe. Otherwise loose and baggy are fine especially since I do a lot of gardening, stooping and bending and riding horses so I need the extra room.
